Game Recap

The Varsity girls went into halftime tied at 24-24, picked up the defensive intensity in the second half to outscore Horizon Science 40-13, winning their home opener 64-37. Sophomores Abbi Maurer(24 points, 7 steals, 6 assist sand 3 blocks) and Lyssi Snouffer (24 point sand 15 rebounds) led the offense scoring 24 points each. Snouffer also recorded her 1st double-double of the season pulling down 15 rebounds. Hannah Maurer(8 points and 5 rebounds) scored the first 6 points of the game. Anna Fuller(4 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals) played well from the point guard position. Freshman Nikki Snedden(2 points, 2 rebounds and 2 blocks) and Elizabeth Ringley(2 points) both scored their first Varsity points. Also contributing to the team were Erin Bauslaugh(2 rebounds), Rachel Schneider(1 steal) and Rachel Fisher.
