Delaware Christian Eagles Varsity easily did away with Tree of Life Christian 14-1 on Tuesday
Tree of Life got on the board in the first inning when N Maddox singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the first, Delaware Christian tied things up at one when Krista Haskins grounded out, scoring one run.
The Eagles pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second an error scored two runs for Delaware Christian, Jillian Klemanski grounded out, scoring one run, and Haskins hit a solo homer.

The Eagles scored another seven runs in the third inning. The offensive firepower by Delaware Christian was led by Elizabeth Ringley, Emma Rindfuss, Haskins, Olivia Rideout, Katie Neuhart, and Ella McCoy, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Haskins was the winning pitcher for Delaware Christian. Haskins went all five innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out seven and walking one.
N Fischbaugh took the loss for Tree of Life Christian. The pitcher went two and two-thirds innings, allowing 12 runs on seven hits and striking out three.
Delaware Christian hit one home run on the day, as Haskins hit a long ball in the second inning.
Delaware Christian tallied 11 hits with Neuhart, Rindfuss, and Haskins each collecting two. The Eagles were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error.

The Lady Eagles will be back in action this Friday when they travel to Buckeye Valley for non-League play.
